Hollywood Black was started in 2004 by designer Gina Jaaskelainen.

Gina has worked as a graphic designer for 14 years. She has a background in corporate branding, print design, packaging design and marketing collateral.

Gina has previously worked for reputable companies in the design, printing and packaging industries as well as in retail and point-of-sale. Gina's employers have included Coles/Myer Group, Tetra Pak Australia and STI Printing Group. Gina has designed for clients including Coca-Cola, Nestle, SmithKline Beecham, Vitasoy, Berri, Dairy Farmers and So Natural Foods.

In her career Gina has worked in a sales capacity with advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Lewis Kahn Staniford (LKS), Singleton, Ogilvy & Mather and Blue Marlin Brand Design.

Gina has a passion for corporate design, for strong and beautiful branding and for client first relationships.

Gina has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sydney University, majoring in Fine Arts, Archaeology and French. Gina went on to further study in graphic design, graphic reproduction, colour correction, photo manipulation, multi-page document design and typography at Ultimo Institute of TAFE in Sydney. Gina has achieved distinctions in Advanced Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator at the Computer Graphics College in William Street, Sydney. Gina is currently a distinction awarded student of web design and web development at Blue Mountains & Western Sydney Institute of TAFE.

Gina likes old movies, knitting, the Linfox slogan and coffee.
